    Sign in to Bread & Butter
    Open https://breadbutter.io and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Open https://breadbutter.io/api/api-resources/ and generate a new API key.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
    Bread & Butter usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Bread & Butter, and paste the API key into the App ID, App Secret field.
  5. 5
    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

App ID

Your Bread & Butter application identifier from App Settings. It identifies the website/application and is inserted into API paths such as /apps/{app_id}; do not enter an admin user ID or Zapier key.

Your Bread & Butter application secret from the dashboard's App Settings or App Secrets section. Use the secret assigned to the application identified by the App ID in this connection; it is sent as x-app-secret and must be kept private.
