    Sign in to Canvas
    Open https://www.instructure.com/canvas and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Canvas dashboard.

    Copy it immediately
    Canvas usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Canvas, and paste the API key into the Canvas Base URL, Acess token field.
  5. 5
    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.

    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

Canvas Base URL

Your school's Canvas web address, e.g. https://myschool.instructure.com — copy it from your browser address bar. Include https:// and no trailing slash.

Acess token

Your Canvas API access token. In Canvas, go to Account → Settings → Approved Integrations → + New Access Token, then copy it right away — Canvas shows it only once.
