    Sign in to Contentful
    Open https://www.contentful.com/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Contentful dashboard.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
    Contentful usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Contentful, and paste the API key into the Base URL, Content Delivery API Access Token field.

    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What do I need before I connect Contentful?

You need Base URL, Content Delivery API Access Token from your Contentful account. The base URL for the Contentful Content Delivery API, e.g. https://api.contentful.com for global customers or https://api.eu.contentful.com for EU data residency customers

Should I use the API key or OAuth for Contentful?

Both are listed on this page. OAuth opens Contentful's official sign-in and Verslay only gets the scopes you approve. The API key route uses your own credential, which Verslay stores encrypted. Connect a new credential first and confirm it works before you revoke an old one.
