Open https://www.digitalocean.com/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.
  2. 2
    Create the API key
Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your DigitalOcean dashboard.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
DigitalOcean usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

  5. 5

    Rotate safely
When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.
