    Sign in to Fly
Open https://fly.io/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.
  2. 2
    Create the API key
Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Fly dashboard.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
Fly usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.

    Rotate safely
When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.
