Meta Ads connects with an access token from your Meta developer account. The "pending app review" some people see refers to Verslay running its own Meta app for one-click OAuth — it never blocks connecting with your own token.

    Sign in to Meta Ads
    Open https://business.meta.com/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Meta Ads dashboard.

    Copy it immediately
    Meta Ads usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Meta Ads, and paste the API key into the Access Token field.

    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.

    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.
  • Create the token at developers.facebook.com (Graph API Explorer for quick tests, or Business Settings → System Users for a long-lived token).
  • Grant the token ads_read to pull reporting, and ads_management only if you want Verslay to make changes.
  • The token must have access to the specific ad account you want to use.
