API key

Uses your own credential — Verslay stores it encrypted

Connectable today

    Sign in to Shopify
    Open https://www.shopify.com and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Shopify dashboard.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
    Shopify usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Shopify, and paste the API key into the Store Subdomain, Admin Api Access Token field.

    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.

    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

Store Subdomain

Your store's permanent myshopify.com name — the 'acme' in acme.myshopify.com. Find it under Settings → Domains; enter this name, not your custom domain.

Admin Api Access Token

Your Admin API access token (starts with 'shpat_'). Create a custom app with the scopes you need, install it, then click 'Reveal token once' under API credentials.
