Connectable today
  1. 1
    Sign in to Stripe
Open https://stripe.com and sign in to the account you want to connect.
  2. 2
    Create the API key
Generate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Stripe dashboard.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
Stripe usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.
  4. 4
    Connect in Verslay
In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Stripe, and paste the API key into the API Key field.
  5. 5
    Verify
The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.
  • Keys live at dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys. Use a Restricted key (least privilege) rather than the full secret key when possible.
  • Test mode keys (sk_test_…) connect safely for evaluation — swap to live keys when you’re ready.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

API Key

Your Stripe secret key — starts with sk_live_ (or sk_test_ for test mode), not the publishable pk_ key. Find it at https://dashboard.stripe.com/apikeys.
