Captions provides the Mirage API for generating videos and speech and adding styled captions to videos.

API key

Uses your own credential — Verslay stores it encrypted

    Sign in to Captions
    Open https://www.captions.ai/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Open https://platform.mirage.app/ and generate a new API key.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
    Captions usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Captions, and paste the API key into the Mirage API Key field.
  5. 5
    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

Mirage API Key

Create or copy your API key from the Mirage platform dashboard at https://platform.mirage.app/. Every Mirage API request requires this key in the x-api-key header. Keep it secret.
