Uses your own credential — Verslay stores it encrypted

    Sign in to Copper
    Open https://www.copper.com/ and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Open https://developer.copper.com/introduction/authentication.html and generate a new API key.
  3. 3
    Copy it immediately
    Copper usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Copper, and paste the API key into the API Key, User Email field.

    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

API Key

Generate or copy your token in Copper by opening System settings, selecting API Keys, and choosing GENERATE API KEY. The token belongs to one Copper user and is governed by that user's Team Permissions. Keep it secret.

Enter the email address of the Copper user who generated this API key. Copper requires the token owner's email in the X-PW-UserEmail header on every Developer API request.
