- 1Sign in to ForcemanagerOpen https://www.forcemanager.com and sign in to the account you want to connect.
- 2Create the API keyGenerate a new API key from the API or developer settings in your Forcemanager dashboard.
- 3Copy it immediatelyForcemanager usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.
- 4Connect in VerslayIn the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Forcemanager, and paste the API key into the Signature (Generated SHA1 Signature), ForceManager Public API Key, ForceManager Private API Key, Unix Timestamp field.
- 5VerifyThe connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
- 6Rotate safelyWhen you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.
What you’ll paste into Verslay
The SHA1 hash signature generated by concatenating the Unix timestamp, public key, and private key. Used for X-FM-Signature header.
The public key provided by ForceManager for API authentication. Typically set as the X-FM-PublicKey header.
The private key provided by ForceManager for API authentication. Used to generate the signature. This key should never be transmitted in plain text.
The current Unix timestamp in UTC. Used for X-FM-UnixTimestamp header in ForceManager authentication.
