    Sign in to Readwise Reader
    Open https://readwise.io/read and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Open https://readwise.io/access_token and generate a new API key.

    Copy it immediately
    Readwise Reader usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find Readwise Reader, and paste the API key into the Readwise Access Token field.

    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

Your non-expiring Readwise access token. Sign in to Readwise, then copy the token shown at https://readwise.io/access_token. Keep it secret because it grants access to your Reader library.
