    Sign in to The Companies API
    Open https://www.thecompaniesapi.com and sign in to the account you want to connect.

    Create the API key
    Open https://www.thecompaniesapi.com/api/authentication and generate a new API key.

    Copy it immediately
    The Companies API usually shows the full API key only once, right after you create it. Store it somewhere safe before closing the page.

    Connect in Verslay
    In the Verslay Hub, open Connections, find The Companies API, and paste the API key into the API Token field.
  5. 5
    Verify
    The connection flips to Connected. Run any read-only action once to confirm the credential has the right scopes.
  6. 6
    Rotate safely
    When you rotate later: connect the new credential first, confirm it works, then revoke the old one.

What you’ll paste into Verslay

API Token

Create or copy a permanent API token from the API Tokens page in The Companies API settings. Paste only the token value; Composio adds the required "Basic" authorization prefix. Keep this token secret because it carries your API privileges.
